The 2020 Virtual Commencement ceremony takes place on Saturday, June 20

The Main Virtual Commencement Ceremony for the entire campus takes place on Saturday, June 20, 9:00–10:00 a.m. via live webcast on the Commencement Webpage. Following the broadcast will be pre-recorded recognition highlights of graduates in each school and college.
Graduating students will have an opportunity to personalize their individual recognition by adding a photo, message, and short video.
The Department of Computer and Information Science (CIS) convocation will be pre-recorded and released for viewing on the same day as the main campus event, at 10:30 a.m. The pre-recorded CIS Department Convocation will be available from the UO Commencement Activities and Ceremonies web page.

April 12: Last day to apply for Graduate Degree
May 10: Last day to apply for Undergraduate Degree (apply via DuckWeb)
May 31: Register for Commencement 2020 to receive a special graduation celebration box
June 5: Last day of classes
June 8–12: Final exams

Eligible graduates at all degree levels will be contacted at their UO email addresses by Student Life with details about participating in this year’s 2020 virtual commencement. Graduates will be announced in a Grad Roll video that will include their names and degrees. Student also have the option to personalize their slide with a photo, written message, short video, name pronunciation, and two Snapchat filters (optional).
Graduating students are encouraged to order their regalia through the UO Duck Store online. The commencement fee is waived for all graduates, and each graduate will receive their diploma cover free of charge (one free diploma cover per graduate). Graduates that only want their free diploma cover will still need to order it through the Duck Store online. All items will be shipped directly to the graduate, and free shipping is available on all graduation orders.
